Jacquie is one of the only origin and cause investigators in British Columbia   to achieve the high standards of education, training and experience in fire investigation necessary to obtain the IAAI-CFI designation through the International Association of Arson Investigators.

A licensed and bonded fire/explosion and private investigator for over 18 years, Jacquie has investigated and/or assisted in the review and preparation of reports on over 1,500 fire scenes including residential, commercial, equipment, marine and wildland fires throughout her investigative career. She has been called upon to provide expert witness testimony and also provides litigation support through review and detailed analysis of reports prepared by other investigators.

Jacquie has presented lectures on fire investigation and fire safety to law enforcement, fire departments, insurance companies, adjusters and brokers as well as individual organizations and is a licensed investigator through the  Ministry of Justice . She has testified in both criminal and civil cases and  is qualified as an expert in the field of Fire Investigation

Court Experience:

Qualified as an expert in the field of Fire Investigation and testified in civil and criminal proceedings in the Supreme Court of British Columbia.

She has achieved numerous settlements favourable to AIS clients working in conjunction with legal counsel during pre-trial mediation.
